Lenard Myers II, Esq.

Lenard focuses his practice on the representation of consumers, homeowners, and holders of state professional health licenses.  Len is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Virginia. He places great value on courtesy, professionalism and resolving problems in the most cost-efficient manner possible.

 

Lenard began his legal career as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney. Notably, he prosecuted over 300 matters with a conviction rate exceeding 90%. Subsequently, he successfully transitioned to private practice while returning to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Tidewater Community College and Norfolk State University.  Len inspired students to fully realize their potential through rigorous life coaching as well as academic instruction.

Lenard values a strong commitment to public service. He served as a citizen soldier in the Virginia Defense Force, a branch of the Virginia National Guard. In his last assignment, Captain Myers served as the Officer in Charge of the Joint Operations Center Augmentation Detachment at Joint Forces Headquarters. Additionally, Lenard served his local community as Chair of the Transportation Toll Facility Advisory Committee for the City of Chesapeake and as a member of the Mayor's Committee for Comprehensive Planning Strategies.  Len is most proud of serving the youth in our community as a former board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Virginia. 

Experience

Lenard represents individuals and businesses in: The negotiation of commercial contracts; Drafting of commercial contracts; Resolution of complex contractual disputes through means of negotiation; and the Resolution of complex contractual disputes through means of litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in the litigation of matters of involving breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty in disputes arising between business partners. He also represents individuals and entities in matters concerning mortgages, loan modifications, and foreclosures, where disputes include fraud and breach of contract actions against mortgage lenders as well as mortgage servicing companies. Finally, Lenard represents consumers against car dealers engaged in auto fraud concerning purchases, warranties, and title issues.

Len has served with distinction as past president of the South Hampton Roads Bar Association, where under his tenure, the bar was honored of the Local Bar Association of the Year by the Virginia State Bar. Len continues to his work of advancing his profession a member of the policymaking arm of the Virginia State Bar where he was appointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia. Len also has the recognition of successfully arguing a foreclosure defense case before the Supreme Court of Virginia which became a published decision and continues to be used as legal precedent by lawyers in courts all across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

About Lenard Myers

Lin Wang, Esq.

ASSOCIATE COUNSEL

Practice Areas: Contracts, Corporate Law, Commercial Transactions, Civil Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution

Mr. Wang began his distinguished legal career as a litigator, successfully litigating over 100 cases in complex civil and administrative matters. Building on this solid foundation of legal experience, Lin expanded his practice of law to include complex corporate work. Lin has served in the office of general counsel in multi-national corporations, with a particular focus on the representation of large enterprise groups in complex commercial transactions in the areas of M&A, reorganization and cross-border investment.

Experience

Lin possesses deep knowledge and experience when it comes to providing legal advice on substantial investment projects including project financing in excess of $1 Billion, as well as experience in outbound investment, reorganization, and asset disposal, all in the multi-million-dollar range. Lin also more than capable representing both individuals and businesses in the drafting of commercial documents, negotiation of commercial contracts, as well as the resolution of contractual disputes through mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
